Special Needs Teaching Assistant – Full Time Only

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Support Worker to support children and young people in an engaging and supportive school environment.

Please note: This role is full-time only. Do not apply if you are looking for part-time work, are on a student/20-hour visa, or require sponsorship. Only candidates who already have the legal right to work full-time in the UK will be considered.

Role Overview:

Provide pastoral and well-being support to young people, helping them overcome social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
Mentor pupils to build confidence, resilience, and positive relationships.
Work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to promote inclusion and engagement in learning.
Support with behaviour management, de-escalation strategies, and structured activities.
Help create a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment both inside and outside the classroom.

Requirements:

Must be legally able to work full-time in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
Previous youth work, mentoring, or education-based experience is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build trust with young people.
Full-time availability (Monday–Friday).
